An external female urine collection device comprises a flexible conduit (1) having an inlet end (2) arranged in liquid flow communication with the urethral opening (3), and at least one support member (4) sealingly surrounding the conduit inlet end (2). A first side (5) of the at least one support member is arranged in sealing contact with the skin tissue of the female vulva area (6). The inlet end (2) of the conduit (1) has and internal diameter exceeding the diameter of the urethral opening (3) and the support member (4) is generally disc-shaped and formed entirely from a tacky sealing compound which is easily deformable by manipulation for moulding into mating contact with the vulva area (6).
