PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the treatment time by formulating a calcium compound to a warp-sizing agent or fiber-binding agent and promoting the decomposition and oxidation of organic substance in the thermal deoiling treatment. SOLUTION: A calcium compound such as calcium oxide, calcium carbonate, calcium hydrogen carbonate, calcium nitrate, calcium sulfate, calcium phosphate, calcium metaphosphate, calcium acetate, preferably calcium acetate is formulated to the fiber-binding agent or a warp-sizing agent preferably in an amount of 0.05-0.5 wt.%, more preferably 0.1-0.4 wt.% on the solid basis of the binding or sizing agent. The calcium compound preferably amounts to >=50% of the organic substances on the glass fiber woven fabric, but the similar effect can be develop, when it is used as a binding agent and the use as both of binding and sizing agents can give more improved thermally deoiling effect. |
