Heating system for motor vehicle windscreen washing water

The washing water reservoir (1) is connected by a hose (2) to an additional component (3) made of metal and which is attached to the cylinder block, exhaust pipe, exhaust manifold or on another heated point on the engine. The inlet and/or the outlet of the additional component is angled, and inside the component is a metal pipe coil for through flow of water. The water passing through the additional component is heated up and pumped (5) through a second hose to the spray jets on the windscreen.
