Phase conjugate circuit and retroreceive antenna

A retroreceive antenna system comprises two antenna elements (10, 12) equispaced about the antenna centreline (14). The signal received at a first element (10) is mixed (18) with a signal from a local oscillator (16) and combined (20) with the received signal from the other antenna element (12) to provide an output signal containing phase information for use as a control in steering the antenna.
