PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display gradation characteristics in each of plural gradation processings on a screen together with a visual image in an image display device. SOLUTION: An image input means 10 fetches an image signal SO, and outputs its output signal S1 to an image processing means 20 and a gradation characteristic display means 40. The gradation characteristic display means 40 obtains information S4 making gradation characteristics in each of plural gradation processings displayed on an image display means 30 based on attendant information provided in the output signal S1. The image processing means 20 performs prescribed image processing for the output signal S2 based on the attendant information provided in the output signal S1, and outputs the image signal S3 performed with the image processing to the image display means 30. The image display means 30 receives the information S4 from the gradation characteristic display means 40, and displays gradation characteristics in each of plural gradation processings on the screen together with the visual image of the signal S3. |
