PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain stable electrifying performance over a long period and to attain reduction in size and cost by forming plural discharge parts capable of independently discharging electricity on a common base board. SOLUTION: This electrifier 10 is provided with discharge electrodes 12 which are arranged to face a relatively moved body to be electrified 1 and for generating electric charges applied to the body to be electrified 1 and ionization area control electrodes 14 which are arranged between the body to be electrified 1 and the discharge electrodes 12 and for controlling the ionization regions of electric discharges in the electric fields between the body to be electrified 1 and the discharge electrodes 12, to place the ionization regions between the discharge electrodes 12 and the ionization area control electrodes 14. The discharge parts 16a-16d capable of independently discharging the electricity are formed on the common base board 11. Further, a power feeding control part 17 for independently controlling voltages applied to the respective discharge electrodes 12 of four discharge parts 16a-16d, in each discharge part is provided. Further, power feeding electrodes 15 for supplying the voltages from the power feeding control part 17 to the discharge electrodes 12 of the respective discharge parts are formed.
