PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic passing ticket examination system capable of examining a passing ticket on a toll road such as a highway without stagnation by automation. SOLUTION: A camera 5 for number recognition for obtaining vehicle number information from the number plate of a ticket examination vehicle and a sensor 6 for car kind recognition for obtaining the car kind information of the ticket examination vehicle are provided on the front side of a ticket examination gate 1. Also, an automatic ticket examination machine 3 is provided on the center of the ticket examination gate 1 and the passing ticket is automatically examined. Further, a message display machine 4 for displaying a message for instructing the movement of the vehicle to a specified place to the driver of the vehicle whose illegal action is detected is installed on the tip side of the ticket examination gate 1. In the specified place, a passing ticket re-issuing machine 7 for investigating the driver of the vehicle whose illegal action is detected is provided. In the passing ticket reissuing machine 7, the contents of the passing ticket owned by the driver are displayed as the proof of illegality and the passing ticket storing charging information based on penalty stipulation by the illegal use of the passing ticket is re-issued further. |
