The sprinkle has a wind actuated tipping lever which, under the direction and force of wind relative to the sprinkling vehicle, tips in one direction, and thus causes tipping of the spout in the opposite direction. The sprinkler comprises a pivoting sprinkling canon (1) connected by a rotating joint (2) to a vertical tube (5) supplied with water. The rotating joint comprises two components (2a, 2b) able to rotate relative to each other and joined by a flexible connector (3). A tipping lever (17) carrying in its upper part a wind catching element (18) is engaged by its lower part in a first articulation (15) carried by a rigid structure (13). It is also engaged in a second articulation (16) carried under the first by a rigid structure (14) fixed to the second joint element. Tipping of the lever in one direction caused tipping of the spout in the opposite direction.
