PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety on operation by collating the output situation of data transmitted and outputted from a center to a facsimile equipment on the side of a center. SOLUTION: This FAX-OCR system 2 is constituted of a facsimile server 3 for communicating with a facsimile equipment 1, a file server 4 for storing and transferring information, a character recognizing device 5 for extracting character data from image data, inputting means for accepting an input from a staff, and displaying means for displaying information. This system is installed at a center, and data from the facsimile equipment 1 are received and processed, and data are transmitted to the facsimile equipment 1. In this case, the file server 4 is provided with an output situation storage part 4a, and the information of an output situation indicating whether or not data transmitted from the center to the facsimile equipment 1 have been transmitted correctly is recognized and obtained by the facsimile server 3, the information on the output situation is stored in the output situation storage part 4a, and the information of the output situation is obtained from the output situation storage part 4a and then displayed on the displaying means through the instructions from the staff. Thus, the information of the output situation can be collated. |
