<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject food suppressed in bacterial breeding and mould growth and excellent in long-term storage stability, hygiene and handleability, by piercing a spit through a chopped vegetable piece, exposing the basal end portion of the spit as grip and then drying the vegetable piece. SOLUTION: This skewered dried vegetable 3 is obtained by piercing a spit 2 through a chopped vegetable piece such as a radish piece 1, exposing the basal end portion of the spit 2 as a grip, and then drying the skewered vegetable piece. Preferably a radish is cut oblongly along the length of' the spit 2 into a piece 1 which, in turn, is preliminarily dried so as to be 50-70% of the initial weight, skewered, and then entirely dried; or, the vegetable piece 1 before dried is dipped into a seasoning liquor and then dried.</p> |
