SYSTEM, DEVICE AND TERMINAL FOR REPRODUCING VIDEO AND SOUND

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system, capable of synchronizing a video to be displayed on the display system with sound data distributed to a portable terminal to reproduce the video and the sound data.

SOLUTION: A portable terminal 205 and a display station 201 use radio wave different from radio waves for performing radio communication to synchronize internal clocks 105 and 118; a decode program 110 decodes videos and sounds received from a distribution server 223 to divide them into sounds and videos; time that is larger than the total amount of re-encoding time for sound data; time to be required for radio communication and decoding time at the portable terminal is added to the present time to define the resultant time as reproduction start time; and the reproduction start time is added to re-encoded sound data and redistributed to the portable terminal 205. The portable terminal 205 decodes the sound data and starts to reproduce the sound data, when the reproduction start time arrives.
