PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover carbon dioxide directly by separation at a high temperature at a low energy consumption by a method wherein an oxide in which lithium is solid dissolved is contained, and reacted with carbon dioxide gas at a specific temperature or under to generate lithium carbonate. SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide gas-absorbent contains an oxide in which lithium is solid dissolved. and reacts with carbonic acid gas at 450 deg.C or under to generate lithium carbonate. As a gas containing the carbon dioxide gas, a gas or the like generated in processes of an apparatus such as an engine using a fuel having, for example, hydrocarbon as a main constituent, a power generation plant, and a chemical plant is exemplified. As the oxide in which lithium is solid dissolved, lithium peroxide containing at least one kind selected from aluminum, titanium, iron, nickel, and silicon, is exemplified. By adding further an alkali carbonate selected from lithium, sodium, and potassium to the oxide, an absorption and release reaction of carbon dioxide gas of the obtained absorbent is accelerated. |
