Warp knitter guide bar with guide needles for the pattern and bonding yarns

The guide bars at a warp knitter have guide needles (10,11) for the bonding and pattern yarns positioned by a common displacement control (14) in the welt float setting. At least one guide needle (11), for the bonding yarn, can be moved in relation to the guide bar (8) by an additional control to place it in one of three lateral positions to give an overlap and a welt float setting. The two guide needles (10,11) are carried by a common guide bar (8). At least one guide needle (11), for the bonding yarn, can be moved from a center position to and fro to the left and right, by a needle interval. A block, with two pairs of limit stops, is moved by a limit stop control across the displacement direction of the guide needle (11), to allow the guide needle (11) to move left or right. To give a picot, at least one pattern yarn guide needle (10) is moved to and fro by a needle control, in relation to the guide bar (8), by at least one needle interval. The two guide needles (10,11) are carried by a common holder (9) in a release mounting at the guide bar (8). Strip actuators (15,17,19), as piezo electric bending units, have one clamped end and the other end at the guide needles (10,11) and limit stop block, operated by the controls. The actuators (15,17) for the guide needles (10,11) are parallel and next to each other at the holder (9). At least one guide needle (11) has a bent section (18), to allow displacement movement without fouling the other guide needle (10). The actuator (19) for the limit stop block is next to the other actuators (15,17), laterally at the holder (9), and the block grips between the two guide needles (10,11). Two guide bars (8), each with a pair of guide needles (10,11), are in a mirror image next to each other.
