Propeller 10 consisting of a propulsion unit that has a plurality of propeller blades 26, a drive unit 14 for actuating the propulsion unit, and a plurality of deformable transmission units 16 located between the propulsion unit and the drive unit 14 such that the transmission units 16 are fitted on the retention notches 24 that exist either on the propulsion unit or on the drive unit. To preserve the structural integrity of the propeller when, in movement, it strikes any foreign object, the transmission units have a tubular format and are capable of deforming so as to absorb any impact force exerted in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said transmission units. <IMAGE>
