PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply recording material to a user side by a serviceman who is informed from a control center even though the user of a copying machine does not communicate the supply of the recording material to the serviceman by receiving the information on the insufficiency of the remaining quantity of the recording material by a host computer. SOLUTION: A copying machine management device 2 is connected to a copying machine main body 1 having an electrophotographic image recorder, and is constituted of a management device part 3 and a modem 4. The device 2 is connected to a copying machine management device host computer 5 through a public line 6. When the remaining quantity of toner is insufficient in the midst of operating the copying machine main body 1, the message is displayed on a copying machine display part and the main body 1 starts communication with the device 2, and the device 2 is informed of the insufficiency of the remaining quantity of the toner. When the device 2 is informed of the insufficiency of the remaining quantity of the toner, it transmits the information on the insufficiency of the remaining quantity of the toner to the computer 5. |
