PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the holding strength of permanent magnets in the rotor core of a permanent magnet type motor, to suppress the distortion of magnetic flux clue to the permanent magnets and to reduce spactial harmonics component. SOLUTION: In the inner rotor type permanent magnet type motor, permanent magnets 12 just equal in member to the number of poles are embedded in a circumferential direction along the outer diameter of a rotor core 11, at least the centers of the permanent magnets 12 are swelled in the center direction of the rotor core 11 and the center part of a bridging part which supports the permanent magnets 12 is enlarged. A space between the permanent magnets 12 and the outer periphery of the rotor core is thickened so as to improve the holding strength of the permanent magnets. Then, the width of the magnetizing direction in the permanent magnets 12 is made larger forwards the center and the end parts are made smaller closer to the end. The magnetic flux waveforms of the magnetic poles are approximated to a sine wave with less distortion. |
