<p>The lamp has a ceramics gas discharge envelope of aluminium oxide, with 2 opposite ends fitted with end seals (11) through which respective conductor leads (9) are fitted, for supporting the gas discharge electrodes. The end seal at at least one end (6a) of the gas discharge envelope is provided by at least 4 axial cermet layers (11a-11d) with a metal content which increases in the outwards direction, the conductor lead soldered to the outermost layer (11d).</p> |
