PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring a starting system into a state an engine without reducing security even when an immobilizer system is failed in operation. SOLUTION: An immobilizer ECU4 outputs a stating permission command to an engine control ECU5 when a discrimination code read from a transponder 2 incorporated in an electronic key coincides with a reregistered discrimination code. The engine control ECU5 starts engine 6 when an ignition switch is operated to a START position in a state that a starting permission command is inputted. When the so formed immobilizer system is failed in operation, a temporary rescue ECU7 effects predetermined code input operation to a key switch 8 for inputting a code number in a state that a temporary rescue ECU 7 is connected to the engine control ECU5. Thus, since the temporary rescue ECU7 outputs a temporary rescue code to the engine control ECU5 only one time, the engine control ECU5 becomes into a state to start the engine 6. |
