ALIGNING DEVICE FOR OBJECTS TO BE CONVEYED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general purpose property when there are plural kinds of plane shapes of an object in an aligning device provided to align objects in the predetermined direction when the objects such as a plastic bottle are packed in a box. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a rotary device 16 for an object conveyor 14 to align objects 2 in the predetermined direction to pack them in a box and a picking device 15 for arranging the objects 2 at a constant pitch when the objects 2 are supplied to the rotary device 16. A star wheel 20 is used as the picking device 15. The star wheel 20 is constituted by upper and lower plate members and a support member provided therebetween so as to correspond to various objects 2 merely by changing the plate members. Moreover, the rotary device 16 can hole the objects 2 by a sucker and is not affected by a shape of the object.
