<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable excellent sheet feeding with rather simple structure. SOLUTION: For a pressing roller 31, an elastic member 32 deformed elastically is pressed against a feeding roller 30. The pressing roller 31 increases in nip N as it deforms and, in addition, the repulsion of the elastic member 32 becomes a pressurizing force against the feeding roller 30. Also the projected parts 33 of the pressing roller 30 are collapsed when they are brought in contact with the feeding roller 30 at the nip N, and recovered elastically when they come out of the nip N. As a result, the projected parts 33 act so that they kick out the end part of sheets and, therefore, the feeding of the sheets can be made securely and satisfactorily.</p> |
