PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the flow of cooling water into a manifold exhaust as much as possible. SOLUTION: An outboard motor has a guide exhaust 38 on which an engine 16 is mounted, an oil pan 61 suspended down from the lower face of the guide exhaust 38, an manifold exhaust space 64 formed at the center of the oil pan 61 and extended to the vertical direction, a manifold exhaust 63 arranged in the manifold exhaust space 64 to guide exhaust gas from the engine via an exhaust passage 52 for the guide exhaust 38 to the downward direction, a cooling water drain opening 67 to drain cooling water at the outside of the manifold exhaust 63 and idle exhaust gas flow passages 71 extended in horizontal from the exhaust passage 52 for the guide exhaust 38 to guide exhaust gas during idling to an outside space in the oil pan. |
