PURPOSE:To facilitate direction control of a shield machine. CONSTITUTION:In a shield machine provided with a hydraulic line comprising a drive hydraulic line part for driving shield jacks 9a-9j and a tuning hydraulic line part for driving at low tuning pressure the shield jacks 9a-9j which do not contribute to driving, the pressure of high pressure oil in the drive hydraulic line part is reduced to high tuned pressure by means of a reducing valve 38. The high pressure tuned pressure is supplied to part of or the whole of shield jacks 9a-9j which are driven at low tuned pressure through selection valves 39a-39j to impart driving force to the shield jacks. |
