PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which even in the case where a resin-coat carrier in which the resistance of the coat layer itself has been reduced is used, the uniformity of dots is excellent so that the image noise is not produced. SOLUTION: Resin-coat carriers in which carbon is dispersed into magnetic particles are used, and a developer is conveyed in the state that it is not in contact with a photoreceptor. Further, a vibrating electric field is formed in the developing region, and denoting by t1 , t2 , LT, and Lc respectively the time of the phase for moving a toner to an electrostatic latent image part, the period of a vibrating electric field, the weight average grain size of the toner, and the weight average grain size of the magnetic carrier, the respective conditions of the developing device are set to satisfy the following expressions. 1.0×10<-4> <t1 <2> /LT<1.0×10<-3> [sec<2> /m] and t2 <2> /LC<0.005 (sec<2> /m). |
