PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer wherein a fault of electric field at polarization or driving is eliminated even when supplying of input electric power and taking-out of output electric power are performed at a vibration node part or a desired part, with high reliability in electric characteristics, mounting characteristics to a substrate, thickness reduction, and manufacture characteristics. SOLUTION: A piezoelectric ceramics element 1 is provided with a drive part 1a and a power generation part 1b, input electrodes 11 and 12 are formed on front and rear of the drive part 1A while polarized in thickness direction, and an output electrode 13 is formed at an end part of the power generation part 1b, with the power generation part 1B oriented from the input electrodes 11 and 12 toward the power generation part 1B's end part. An external connection electrode 14 extended from the output electrode 13 is formed on the piezoelectric ceramics element 1, and between the external correction electrode 14 and the piezoelectric ceramics element 1, a low-melting-point glass layer S of low dielectric constant is formed. |
