PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for an electrode plate group of a storage battery capable of easily, accurately detecting the number and the position of the separators of the electrode plate group and determining with high reliability whether the electrode plate group is proper. SOLUTION: A device for inspecting the structure of an electrode plate group 1 whether or not it is proper, when the electrode plate group 1 formed by alternately stacking a plurality of positive and negative plates 2 via a separator 3 is carried along a carrying line 10 is constituted with a CCD camera 13 for image pickup of the top of the electrode plate group 1 and an image-processing device 15 which takes in image data of the separator 3 obtained with the CCD camera 13, computes the number of the separators 3 and the pitch between the separators 3, and determines whether the number of the position of the separators 3 are proper or not by comparing the computed value with the reference data. |
