PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic control unit(ECU) for realizing back-up control by a sub-microcomputer (sub-micon) for an actuator at the time of the generation of abnormality in a main microcomputer (main micon) with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a main microcomputer 3 whose input and output ports P00-P03 connected with a signal inputting part 41 of a driving circuit 7 for driving a motor M are set as output ports for outputting the driving signals of the motor M to the driving circuit 7 in a normal time, and whose input and output ports P00-P03 are set as input ports when a reset signal is applied to a reset terminal INT, and a sub-micon 5 whose own input and output ports P10-P13 are connected with the ports P00-P03 in a wired OR form. At the time of detecting the abnormality of a main micon 3, the sub-micon 5 continues to apply the reset signal to the reset terminal INT of the main micon 3, and switches the input and output ports P10-P13 to output ports for outputting the driving signals to the driving circuit 7. |
