<p>A tool coupling comprises a holder (1) and an adapter (2) for an insert, said adapter comprising a first serration (6) intended to co-operate with a second serration (7) of holder (1), more precisely by bringing the serrations to engage each other by means of a clamping means providing a torque resistant connection between the adapter and the holder. In the holder (1) is recessed not only a first hole (8), that opens in said second serration (7) and has the aim of receiving a pulling member (11) projecting from the first serration (6) of the adapter (2), but also a second hole (9), that extends transverse to the first hole (8) and accommodates a clamping mechanism (10) of the quick coupling type, said clamping mechanism serving as a clamping means.</p> |
