THERMOPLASTIC OLEFIN ELASTOMER COMPOSITION

A thermoplastic olefin elastomer composition which comprises a thermoplastic elastomer compounded with a resin, a rubber, etc. The thermoplastic elastomer comprises a polypropylene resin and an olefin copolymer rubber, may contain a linear polyethylene resin, and has been cross-linked so as to have a gel content of 95 wt.% or higher. This elastomer is compounded with a polyolefin resin, an olefin copolymer rubber, and a softener and optionally with an inorganic filler to produce the composition. This composition is excellent in oil resistance and moldability, and is suitable for use as an energy-saving or resource-saving elastomer in automotive parts, e.g., skin materials, industrial mechanical parts, electrical/electronic components, building materials, etc.
