METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT

PURPOSE: A method for biological wastewater treatment is provided to remove effectively nitrogen contained in the wastewater and reduce the output of sludge. CONSTITUTION: The method is performed in a biological wastewater treatment apparatus comprising:an aeration tank(10) for decomposing organic materials in the wastewater with microorganisms; a sedimentation tank(30) for settling sludge produced in the aeration tank; and a denitrification tank(20) for denitrifying a wastewater returned from a wastewater feedback line for returning the wastewater processed at the aeration tank(10), wherein zeolite or diatom earth is introduced in the aeration tank(10).
