PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmonic current reducer for reducing a harmonic current generated from a motor subjected to phase control effectively through a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: The harmonic current reducer for motor in a drive circuit for regulating the rotational speed of the motor by converting a sine wave voltage into a non-sine wave voltage through phase control comprises an E- shaped core 22, a coil 24 wound around the E-shaped core 22, and a reactor including an I-shaped core 26. When the drive circuit for motor is constituted by connecting the reactor in series with a power supply section and a switching element, tertiary harmonic current is reduced effectively when phase-controlling the sine wave voltage. |
