FIELD: petrochemistry. SUBSTANCE: monoalkyl benzenes are prepared by reacting benzene with olefins in the presence of aluminium chloride and recycling polyalkyl benzenes. Individual parallel alkylation and transalkylation reactions are carried out in two special reaction vessels. Polyalkyl benzene (PAB) fraction is transalkylated having not more than 3 wt % heavy PAB at 80 C or higher. EFFECT: lower yield of polyalkylbenzene resin. 3 cl, 5 ex, 1 dwg
