PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject fabric, excellent in durability in washing, blackening preventing and hygroscopic performances and useful for an office blouse or the like by applying a modified organosilicate onto the surface of a polyester-based fiber having a vinylsulfonic acid-based polymer fixed thereto. SOLUTION: This fabric is obtained by applying preferably 0.01-5 wt.% modified organosilicate of formula II (R is an alkyl such as CH3 or C2 H5 ) onto the surface of a polyester-based fiber having preferably 1-20 wt.% vinylsulfonic acid-based polymer, composed of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid monomer, cross-linked with a compound of formula I [X is H or CH3 ; (n) is 1-23] and fixed thereto. The polyester fiber is preferably processed by weight reduction with an alkali. |
