摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil composition for cold rolling having excellent emulsion stability and rolling lubricity by compounding a base oil with a cationic emulsifier, a nonionic high-molecular compound and a higher aliphatic alcohol. SOLUTION: This composition is composed of the following components (a) to (d) : (a) a base oil selected from an animal or vegetable oil, a mineral oil and an ester; (b) a cationic emulsifier obtained by adding an N,N- dialkylaminoalkylamine to a copolymer of anα-olefin and a maleic anhydride; (c) a nonionic high-molecular compound obtained by grafting a polyethylene glycol as a hydrophilic group with a modified polyester or polyolefin as a lipophilic group in a comb shape; and (d) a higher aliphatic alcohol. The composition has an excellent emulsion stability, i.e., a low physical unit of oil, and high rolling lubricity against a large amount of iron powder which is generated in cold rolling of common steel, stainless steel or silicon steel, especially silicon steel, and the composition can give excellent surface roughness of rolled material after the cold rolling.
