Has carrier part of clamp in installed state running into channel with horizontal cover at distance below lower flange bend. An installation channel with a cover and potential equalization clamp for potential equalization between them has parallel profiled transverse edges with a Z-section whose lower flange bends run facing one another. The side edges of the cover have almost right angle bends whose longitudinal edges in the covering position are aligned towards the lower flange bends of the Z-section and lie on them. The potential equalization clamp consists of a flat almost right angled carrier part plus spring parts with contact points standing on it and bent out from it as well as further contact points. The carrier part of the clamp in the installed state runs into the channel with a horizontal cover at a distance below the lower flange bend (1) of the Z-section of the opening edge. The spring parts bent out of the carrier part, guided around their edges running parallel or vertically to the flange bends, act upon the flange bends and/or the web of the Z-section with their contact points.
