The coupling has a rotary element (1) rotated by a rotational force, an electromagnetic coil (2) on the rotary element, an armature (8) coupled to the rotary element depending on the electromagnetic attractive force to transfer the rotational force to a drive shaft and a d.c. current delivery mechanism with a slip ring (19,20) and a brush (22,23), one on the rotary element and one on a housing protrusion holding the shaft, arranged in a space between the protrusion and drive shaft AN Independent claim is also included for a rotating unit for the above coupling.
