PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately indicate a steering angle of a rear wheel all the time by putting out a voltage signal representing a reference position from a potentiometer when a moving member in an actuator unit for steering a rear wheel is at the reference position. SOLUTION: In a four-wheel steering vehicle, for example, neutralization in assembling an actuator unit for steering rear wheel 10, that is, neutralization of a relay rod 13 and a potentiometer 16 is done by connecting the potentiometer to a voltage detecting device 50 having a circuit 51 in the same constitution as an input circuit in an electric control circuit unit when mounted to a vehicle and using a detected voltage value. Thus, neutralization is done in the perfectly same environment as the state where the potentiometer 16 in the state mounted to the vehicle is connected to an electric control circuit unit 30. As a result, a voltage signal put out from the potentiometer 16 to the electric control circuit unit 30 during running of the vehicle accurately indicates a steering angle of a rear wheel all the time, and steering of the rear wheel is controlled accurately all the time. |
