PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly and efficiently produce a planographic printing plate in good accuracy by the irradiation with laser based on a digital signal. SOLUTION: A base plate for a planographic printing plate wherein a radiation responsive layer is provided on a support is heated to 40-110 deg.C and irradiated with laser beam while the temp. of the base plate is held to 40-110 deg.C to perform writing. As a heating method, a temp. controllable known heating means of a contact heating system bringing the raw plate into contact with a heat roll or a hot plate, a ceramic heater, an infrared lamp, or a non-heating system such as a magnetic induction heating can be arbitrarily used. |
