PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the displacement of the tread of a vehicle pedal when an external force not smaller than a predetermined value works on the front of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A pressing member 80 is extended from inner panel reinforcement 74, and when an external force not smaller than a predetermined value works on the front of the vehicle, a brake pedal 10 is pressed by a pressing part 80A as a dash panel 16 is displaced backward. Therefore, the brake pedal 10 is pressed around a rotating shaft part 60 and almost toward the front of the vehicle, and a pedal pad 58 is displaced in the same direction. Further, since the pressing member 80 is connected to the rear plate part 32 of a pedal bracket 26 by a connecting bracket 86 which can be buckled, the accuracy of assembling the pressing part 80A and the brake pedal 10 together can be enhanced. |
