PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a building material and a structural material having prescribed bending strengths or above when glass cullet such as waste glass cullet is reutilized and excellent also in water permeability and to provide their production method. SOLUTION: The building material contains glass granules contg. glass cullet obtd. by crushing a glass product or regenerated glass cullet obtd. by crushing a glass regenerated article partially contg. glass and auxiliary starting materials. The glass granules are dispersed and formed so as to almost maintain a crushed state without perfectly melting the granules. The building material is made to a >=1.0×10<-2> cm/sec coefft. of water permeation and >=30 kgf/cm<2> bending strength. |
