<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable operating an audio circuit as required by a user independently of a power source mode of a display device by controlling supply of a power source to an audio processing means independently of a video circuit section. SOLUTION: When a user sets an audio power economizing mode of a display device to a current cut off mode, even if only a horizontal synchronizing signal H-SYNC is inputted from a host, that is, even if a video power source supply mode is made a pause mode, an audio power source control signal PSSC is made a inactive state same as a normal power source supply mode. Therefore, an audio power source is supplied to an audio circuit 360 from an audio power source supply section 340. That is, the audio circuit 360 is operated normally independently of a video power economizing mode. In this case, an audio power source is supplied to the audio 360 until a display device is made a power cut off mode.</p> |
