<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an noncongestive suburban road easily into a route by making a decision whether a road is an urban road or not and calculating a route to a goal, based on the decision results. SOLUTION: In searching a route, a decision is made whether a priority is set or not (S21) and a route calculation processing is executed (S25) immediately if it is not set, otherwise a decision is made whether a priority is set for a suburban road (S2). If a priority is set for a suburban road (YES), the urban road searching cost is lowered (S23) otherwise (NO) the suburban road searching cost is lowered (S24) and a route calculation processing is executed (S25). An example of searched road is then displayed and stored (S26).</p> |
