<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile radar for scanning a preceding vehicle while being mounted on an automobile in which a radar sensor aligned with the axle of a host vehicle can be reset to initial state upon stepping out. SOLUTION: The mobile radar comprising a radar sensor 1 secured rotatably in front of a vehicle while being aligned with the axle thereof in order to scan a preceding vehicle at a constant scan angle with respect to the center of scanning is further provided with a rotation stopper for the radar sensor 1 located at a predetermined rotational angle from the center of scanning, and a section 15 for controlling the initialization operation of the center of scanning through reverse rotation of a predetermined rotational angle when the radar sensor 1 having the predetermined rotational angle is turned and located at the position of the stopper wherein the section 15 performs initialization operation when predetermined conditions are satisfied for the vehicle.</p> |
