PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power generating method which makes useful the process of generating power while an electric vehicle is running and accumulating the power in a battery, in order to delay the degradation of a battery provided on the electric vehicle for extending the duration of the vehicle. SOLUTION: With a method that a generator like a dynamo is connected to a rotating body like a propeller shaft only when an accelerator is released or a brake is applied, and that it is not connected in any other cases on an electric vehicle, power is generated by using coasting to be controlled which occurs when braking a running electric vehicle. Then, the power so obtained is accumulated in a battery so as to be further used for driving the vehicle. |
