The hearing aid device (1) has a microphone coupled va an electronic circuit to a loudspeaker, with the microphone acting as the cover (3) of the hearing aid housing (2) containing the electronic circuit and the loudspeaker. The signal lines between the microphone and the electronic circuit have a releasable connection point for allowing removal of the cover, the electronic circuit providing noise when no noised is detected by the microphone for masking tinnitus noise.
