<p>A crutch (10, 100, 200) which is designed to be attached to a thigh and shin of a user, wherein the weight of the user is supported by the knee. The crutch (10, 100, 200) comprises a support (14, 114, 214) for the upper portion of a human leg, a support (20, 120, 220) for the lower portion of a human leg, and a leg (24, 124, 224) depending from the support (14, 114, 214) for the upper portion of a human leg. The leg (24, 124, 224) is designed to simulate the lower half of the user's leg, thus allowing the user to walk more easily than with conventional crutches. In addition, the crutch leaves the user's hand free when in use.</p> |
