The control arrangement includes an arrangement which provides a number of reference lines (60) which extend along the lane (48) and are arranged parallel to each other in a width of the lane. A selection arrangement selects a target movement line from the multitude of reference lines in response to a movement condition of the vehicle. A torque generation arrangement provides a steering torque for moving the vehicle in direction of the target movement line. The control arrangement recognizes a lane, on which a vehicle moves, and controls a steering torque, so that the vehicle moves along the lane. A reference line adjustment arrangement adjusts a number of reference lines which extend along the lane and are arranged parallel to each other in a width of the lane. A target movement line selection selects a target movement line from the multitude of reference lines in response to a movement condition of the vehicle. A torque generation arrangement provides a steering torque for adjusting a line of movement of the vehicle in direction of the target movement line.
