Omnidirectional flush (inset) light for airport runway

The light source has a lamp (5) positioned adjacent the point of symmetry of a reflector device with a hemispherical reflector (6) and a circular mirror (7) around the upper edge of the latter. A prism (9) is positioned above the lamp for providing a 360 degree output beam, its bottom surface being rotationally symmetrical, for directing the light received from the reflector device outwards in all directions at a flat angle.
