PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate offset adjustment of a printed image for an operator by reading out an offset adjustment pattern through an image reading means at the time of image formation and informing the image information of offset adjustment pattern read out through an informing means to an image processor. SOLUTION: When output of an offset adjustment pattern is designated from the front panel of an image processor 110, an offset adjustment pattern is outputted to a color copy 120. A decision is then made whether offset information is informed from the color copy 120 and if it is informed, a new offset value is calculated based on the informed offset information and offset information of a pattern intended by the image processor 110. Subsequently, a decision is then made whether the image processor 110 is developing a PDL data and if it is in busy state, a ready state is waited before a new offset value is applied to the image processor 110. |
