摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a recording material capable of recording and erasing information while a metallic ion can be dissociated by bringing an LB film in which metallic ions are regularly arranged into contact with acid by a method wherein the LB film containing a compound represented by the specific formula is irradiated with light, and a metallic ion is introduced by forming a complex thereafter. SOLUTION: A Langnuir-Blodgett(LB) film is a multilayer film having a structure in which molecules are regularly arranged, nonlinear optical responsibility is raised by arranging the molecules regularly, and an application as a non-linear optical element can be executed. In this case, the LB film wherein metallic ions within a broad range are stably regularly arranged by introducing the metallic ions by irradiating the LB film formed of the compound represented by the formula with light. Then, a recording material manufactured by containing such the metallic ion-containing LB film, is brought into contact with acid to dissociate the metallic ion, and its information is erased. Further, the metallic ion is introduced again by irradiating the recording material containing the LB film in which the metallic ion is dissociated with light, and the information is recorded.
