Capturing particles of building material during machining

The method is for capturing small particles of material formed during machining work such as drilling, sawing, milling, grinding or cutting, carried out on building materials, especially concrete, stone or sand-lime brick. The method comprises delivering collapsible foam to the machining work location. Also claimed is a device for the particle capture which is used in conjunction with building material machining equipment (1), and comprises a foam generator and a feed pipe. The figure shows a groove milling machine (1) fitted with a particle capture device. It has a cutting wheel (2), tray-shaped screen (5), and foam supply pipe (9).
